    My Favourite Game Show & Tell

    Preparation

    • Send home note asking families to help children choose a favourite game to share
    • Prepare chart paper with title 'Our Favourite Games'
    • Set up sharing circle area
    • Have markers ready for simple drawings

    Step-by-Step Instructions

      Gather children in sharing circle

      Explain that everyone will share their favourite game

      Model by sharing your own favourite childhood game first

      Invite each child to share: What game? How do you play? Who do you play with? Why do you like it?

      Draw simple pictures on chart paper for each game mentioned

      Ask follow-up questions: 'Has anyone else played this game?'

      Celebrate the variety of games our class enjoys

      Display chart in classroom for reference throughout unit
