Historical, civic and spatial thinking โ understanding myself and my world
Kindergarten Social Studies develops children's understanding of themselves as individuals and community members. Through the lens of Myself, children explore their heritage and culture, rights and responsibilities, and the places and spaces around them โ all framed within the five Integrated Units.
Note on SCO Types: Social Studies SCOs carry a type code that indicates the dimension of learning โ K (Knowledge), S (Skills), or V (Values). Each strand covers all three dimensions to develop well-rounded citizens.
