    Kindergarten: Celebrations Unit

    A 5-week exploration of family, cultural, and community celebrations

    Unit Overview

    This Celebrations unit introduces kindergarten students to the rich diversity of celebrations in families, cultures, and communities. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and creative expression, students will develop an understanding of traditions, customs, and the importance of celebrations in bringing people together.

    The unit integrates social studies, language arts, mathematics, art, and social-emotional learning while building cultural awareness, empathy, and appreciation for diversity in our world.

    Unit Description
